Extended, a decentralized perpetuals exchange developed by former Revolut executives, has officially launched on Starknet. The platform, previously known as X10, is spearheaded by Ruslan Fakhrutdinov, Revolut's former head of crypto operations. With $6.5 million in funding from investors like Tioga Capital, Semantic Ventures, and StarkWare, Extended aims to cater to on-chain derivatives traders seeking high leverage and diverse markets.

Traders on Starknet can now access over 50 markets, including crypto pairs and traditional finance assets such as EUR/USD, gold, and the S&P 500. The platform offers leverage of up to 100x. Previously operating on StarkEx, Extended reported average daily volumes of $319 million and open interest exceeding $55 million, with a repeat depositor rate above 50%.

The migration to Starknet is being executed in three phases, beginning August 12. During the transition, both StarkEx and Starknet versions will run concurrently, though new deposits on StarkEx have been halted. The StarkEx version will eventually shift to reduce-only mode before being phased out entirely.
